Kit
Kat Korner is a joint venture between my mother, Kitty Sullivan (Kit) and
myself, Kathleen Arban (Kat).
Kitty
began creating handcrafted products over 50 years ago -- at first
for her children and then for friends, local organizations, and church
functions. Her life is a testament to ingenuity and creativity.
As
a young child, I remember her teaching me how to make clove sachets.
A project which took hours of painstaking labor, puncturing an orange rind
with whole cloves (you can imagine how many cloves it takes to cover an orange).
Little did I know that she was trying to keep me occupied so that she could
finish her daily chores!
Of
course she certainly had her hands full raising six children. Regardless
of the motivation, my mother instilled in me a passion for creative
expression, for which I will be forever grateful.
We hope that you enjoy our products. Most of the products have been
created by my mother, although a few have been my designs. Thank you
